About the Group
Run by volunteers, you can be as involved as much or as little as you like. you can just take part in the events program or help with the running of the group, organising talks, walks and fundraising, you will be helping make a real difference to conservation in the UK.
Events for 2008:—
- Sunday 27th April – Saxton/Hazelwood/Saxton. 6 miles approx. Meet 10am at Lay-by near Crooked Billet (Contact Paul for further details)
- Sunday 1st June – Sherburn Willows revisited. Breeding Birds and Wildflowers galore. Meet at South Milford Railway Station Car Park at 9am (Time to be confirmed).
- Sunday 29th June - Red Kite Walk, Eccup/Harewood. (Details to be confirmed)
- Sunday 27th July – A summer stroll along the River Wharfe from Kirkby Wharfe. (Details to be confirmed)
- Sunday 31st August – Visit to Fairburn Ings. (Details to be confirmed)
