We now have café facilities, comfortable seating and a wide range of stock, with reading for all ages from babies onwards, for interests, pleasure, study or work. You can also borrow DVDs, music, talking books, large print books and computer games.
Explore the world of information using library computers. We offer FREE access to the internet, email MS Office and much more.
Not confident with computers? Then why not try one of our FREE IT Taster courses?
Do you or someone you know find it difficult to leave home? We operate a Home Library and information Service for people who are unable to get to the library.
We work with other organisations to provide access to: Employment advice, North Yorkshire County Council and Selby District Council services including housing, planning and benefits clinics, business information and local information on community groups and events.
Come and enjoy events and activities held in the library and information centre: 
Under 5s Storytime (1st Thursday of each month)
Reading Group (1st Wednesday of each month)
School Holiday Stories and Crafts; Author Visits and Talks.
