Sherburn Aero Club is your local airfield and is renowned throughout the country as having some of the best facilities in the aviation community.

Why not come along and have a look for yourselves? we have new lounge, bar and restaurant facilities for you to try, you may wish to become a social member and while away the summer in our garden watching the comings and goings or maybe even take up flying yourself... we would welcome visits from our neighbours, many of the members and flyers are local to the area. Let the flightdesk know you've come to have a look and someone will show you around.

We are just setting up a flight simulator user group that will hold regular monthly meetings here in the clubhouse, so if you have some flight sim software on your PC or got FS X for Christmas and would like to know more about it then come along to a meeting. The first one is to be held Saturday the 2nd Feb from 10.30am.

Also keep a lookout on Emmerdale in February as the crews were here filming a couple of weeks ago... Some high flying cast in scary aerobatics planes flown by Ex Red Arrows pilots...
